Sun~Surf~Sand

We took Lily on her second flight and first time to the beach! We stayed for 7 days in Florida, along the Gulf of Mexico. The ocean was 85 degrees (perfect for Lily!) and there were hardly any waves so we could take her in the ocean each day. She LOVED the beach!! She had no hesitations about sitting in the sand, getting in the pool and ocean or sleeping in the hotel! It was pretty close to the perfect trip.

Each morning Lily would wake up and we'd start out in a cabana on the beach. Then up to the pool and when she started rubbing her eyes one of us would take her up for a nap. She loved splashing in the pool and "diving" off the side. We'd sit her on the edge and count to 3 when she'd then lean forward into the pool. She also kicks her feet when we put her on her back. She's a little fish! Greg and I both got to relax and read on the balcony or by the pool while she was taking her naps (we'd take turns going up with her) and the biggest decision was where to go for dinner! Everything was walking distance and a couple nights we'd just walk in the sand down to a beach restaurant for fresh oysters and drinks! This will definitely be a family tradition!





Lily had her own seat! She doesn't even realize all the fun that's in store for her!
