A few cute videos

Here are a few cute videos of Lily playing a little peek-a-boo while eating her breakfast:

and a quick one of her sharing her goldfish with cousin Ethan - then them both signing "thank you" at the very end:

Lily pointing to the pool - wants to swim!

Pigs and Butterflies

This post is about a few more visitors in town for the Flying Pig and a trip to see the Butterfly Exhibit on Mother's Day (and I'm only 3 months away from catching up on my posts - there's an end in sight!) Something to look forward to...we got a new camera so some of the pics a few posts from now are markedly better (well, at least in our opinion). It has been neat to capture Lily in a new light!
Lily pushing Pooh around before leaving for the Butterfly Exhibit.
There was a long line so we had time to admire the views from the outside!
A butterfly landed on Lily and she wasn't too happy about it. I think because we waited in such a long line and then were whisked right in, Lily could've used a little more time to adjust to everything going on! Next time...

Uncle Dave and Lil'
Daddy and Lil'
Family shot!
We stopped by one of our favorite places - Dewey's for dinner afterwards. Can you spot Lily under the Green Lantern box?
Rachel's family (mom, dad, sister) came in town to run the Flying Pig. This is after the race and they're all smiles (and Rachel finished 3rd in the marathon!!)
Mr. Stoehr and Lily with the Flying Pig clapper.
Just had to add a few of these pics after her nap. Somehow she got herself in this predicament...
Perfectly content with a shirt over her head.

Visit from Friends

The McFarland's coming to visit! They lived in Cincinnati and then moved to NY for Joel's school/job. :( But, we're always excited to see them when they're in town!
Coop wiped out in the car.
Lily showing Macy her beach balls.
Coop opening his bag of loot.

This is a good look!

Attempting to get a group shot.

Cooper wrangling the troops.
Macy looks shocked, Cooper happy, Lily not so much.

Chris and Courtney stopped over with their little man, Nicky. Court's mom is Rachel's principal so we had to get a group shot!

What a fun evening - looking forward to seeing them again in less than a month!

Holding Hands

There's nothing cuter than 2 little ones holding hands!
Lily sorta sharing her goldfish.
Our little monkey on a monkey.

Who say it's nap time!?

While Greg was napping on the couch (which doesn't happen often!), Lily decided he needed a few toys to keep him company.
He really stayed asleep thru all of this...
Until she started poking him and trying to wake him up.
Look at that smile - mission accomplished!

Videos and Fun News!

Here are a few more videos we took recently of Lily. The first shows her "finding" out that she's going to be a big sister! We're so thrilled to be having another baby and to experience all the joy (and sleeplessness) that Baby Cole #2 will bring!

I'm 20 weeks now and 1/2 way done - hard to believe. I experienced some morning (or rather, evening) sickness in the beginning that I never had with Lily. But, the rest of the pregnancy has been great so far. It has been a hot summer but we've just been spending a lot of time in the pool!

Here's Lily finding out the news with her "Big Sister" sticker (sorry you have to look sideways!): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scog5ZCOuGU

And just for fun, here's another video of Lily with her flash cards (although we might have been having just as much fun...you decide...): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDVAXvI5Ay0

Odds n' Ends

In my attempt to get up-to-date on my posts, I've decided to combine a bunch of events/dates and pics of Lily! I figure you probably like to view the pictures the most, so why not add 'em all together! I still have a lot left after this, so I'll probably be doing a few more similar posts.
This summer has just been so busy and we're having so much fun with Lily. There have been many nights after Lily goes to sleep that Greg and I just sit back and talk about what a fun and interesting little person Lily is becoming. She does something new every day and is just so much fun to be around. Truly can't imagine our lives without her!
Lily is way too cool for school. Watching a lacrosse game with daddy.
Peyton and Lil' watching Greg's lacrosse team.
Lily loves pushing the stroller. Making sure her ducky is buckled in.
Lily and Ari at the zoo checking out all the tulips.
Lily and tulips.
Best shot of the duo in front of the flowers!
She is all girl.
Watching the train (errr...one train car) go by the park!
Pushing the stroller is so much easier with 3!
Preparing for the oncoming train. Boomer is clearly excited about the spectacle as well.

And since I've had such problems uploading my videos to the blog, I decided to do the next best thing and upload them to Youtube and provide you with a link. Here's a cute one of Lily's funny laugh of the day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pD6kMnM5iIg Enjoy!

Lily the Farmer

Looking at pics from a few months ago at the zoo. Our little farmer Lily fits right in with the tigers....roarrrrr (as she says).
Check out those teeth!
Peyton and Lily going for a ride on the alligator. Once she got on, she did NOT want to get off!
Switching now to Lily's desire to drink out of any cup (that's not hers). When we go on walks I usually bring a water for myself and one for her. Of course she wants nothing to do with whatever container we put her water in...she wants mine!
Drinking her milk "out" of dad's big blue cup.
Another pic of Lil' showing her independence. I don't need to SIT to read books - I can stretch all the way out!
One legged...
She just might be a trapeze artist some day!
