Hard to believe Lil' is eating "real" food now! She's had rice cereal and now applesauce. The other day my mom and I (thanks mom!) made a bunch of baby food (applesauce, sweet potato, acorn squash, avocado and bananas). It was actually pretty easy and it's nice to know exactly what she's eating. It's been a while since we had it, but the acorn squash tasted so good that I think I'll have to pick up a few more for our dinner. It'll be a whole family affair!
We thought this would be a great way to chronicle our lives, our beautiful children, our good old dog Boomer and anything else that comes our way. Life truly is good...

Lily's Favorite Song
Lily in a little "Gigi" outfit!
We were at Library Babies today and Lily loves all the books we look through and songs we sing, but she gets all giggly when we do "Itsy Bitsy Spider." It's funny because even if we're in the car and Lil' gets fussy, all we have to do is start singing that song and she's quiet. As soon as I start singing it to her, she gets a huge smile. Ahhh, the simple things in life...

Breakin' It Down
Daddy's nightly routine is to dance with Lily in the living room. She sure loves her daddy...
Happy Easter!
We had a great time this past Easter with family and friends. It was action packed - Jimmy's 1st birthday party, dinner at her buddy Ari's house (along with Joel & Sarah) :), church where she got to show off her sparkly shoes, brunch at grandma and grandpa Cole's (and a special visit from great grandma Evelyn!), and dinner at grandma and grandpa Bea's house. She then met Peyton and his mommy Julie up at Kenwood to walk and hang out together. Here are a few pictures from a great weekend!
She even got multiple visits from the Easter bunny (thanks grandparents and "aunt" Ray Ray!)

In Living Color
Lily is getting all ready for spring - we've retired her winter blankets and now have the lighter, spring blankets out. We've also set up her jogging stroller since we've been able to get out on runs/walks now that it's getting nicer. She loves being outdoors and checking everything out. Boomer is just as happy walking by her side and making sure nothing comes in her path. He gets a little sidetracked sometimes with smells on the ground, but the wheels on the stroller are a quick reminder to keep him going straight.
We've also been to a number of daddy's lacrosse games so far which she seems to enjoy. I think the mix of people clapping, kids running on the field and being outside keep her more than entertained. I just make sure to remind her that it's soccer she'll be playing when she gets a little bigger... :)
